Quiet began as an exploration of flight, and has evolved into a duet expressing love affected by the inevitable changeability of life. Two dancers, suspended by ropes and entwined in each other's arms, slowly slip away from one another and swing off stage. As they sway independently in 6-foot loops of rope their movement varies from phenomenal spinning to physical feats of grace and strength. Together they create a kinetic and evocative terrain of exciting physicality, searing emotion, and sensual design. Performed to the thrilling sound of Antonio Vivaldi. 6 Minutes.
